Every October, breast cancer awareness campaigns take place in many countries around the world. Joining this initiative, Yelo Bank organized a seminar for its female employees with the participation of a professional specialist. The aim of the event is to draw attention to the fight against cancer and to encourage women to undergo regular medical check-ups.
The seminar was led by Dr. Leyla Bayramova, Surgeon, Mammologist and Oncologist at Referans Sea Breeze Hospital. The specialist noted that breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among women, and that one in eight women worldwide is affected by the disease. At the same time, early diagnosis and timely treatment can save lives.
During the seminar, participants received detailed information on the symptoms, risk factors and early diagnosis of the disease. They were also informed about the importance of regular check-ups, modern methods of prevention and treatment, and the role of a healthy lifestyle. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session, where participants were able to discuss their questions directly with the doctor.
It is worth noting that such seminars have become a tradition at Yelo and are held every year. The Bank plans to continue organizing educational events as part of its approach to social responsibility.
