Do I need an internet connection to use Google Pay?

Apple Pay, contactless payment method, is available for Yelo card users. It is enough to bring the iPhone smartphone, Apple Watch or iPad tablet close to the payment terminal for making a payment. Payments can be made with Apple Pay at any market, pharmacy, taxi, cafe, restaurant, retail store and many other places that have a contactless payment token.

The main advantage of Apple Pay is its security and privacy. Every transaction made with this method is securely protected, as the user must confirm the payment with Face ID, Touch ID or the device's password. Card information added to Apple Pay is not stored on the device or on Apple's servers. Instead, the card is encrypted with a unique device registration number and securely stored on the device's high-standard certified "Secure Element" chip.

Activating a Yelo card in Apple Pay is very easy:

·       Enter the Yelo mobile application and select the desired card;

·       Follow the appropriate instructions to add to "Apple Wallet";

·       Enter the one time password (OTP) which will be sent via SMS to your mobile number.

When you complete the process, you will be able to use your chosen card for Apple Pay payments through iPhone, Apple Watch, and iPad devices.

Forgot your card PIN code? Update the PIN code of the card for free using the PIN Reset service through the Yelo App.

Or use the PIN Reset service and get a new code. To do this, you just need:

• Go to any Yelo Bank branch
• Fill in the special form for code recovery provided at the branch
• Based on the request, the old code is deleted
• New PIN code is created through the POS terminal

The cost of the service is 3 AZN and is charged from the card.

If you want to change the PIN code at any time, you can use any of Yelo Bank ATMs. The new code should consist of 4 digits, which you can change as many times as you want. Changing it is very easy:

• Insert the card into the ATM and dial the old code
• Select “Services” from the menu
• Select “PIN Change” from the menu that appears
• Enter your new code in a new window
• Confirm your new code in the next window
• If you suddenly confirm the wrong code, the message “Sorry, you made a mistake when entering the PIN” will appear on the screen
• In this case, click on "Re-enter"
• Enter the new PIN twice
• Congratulations, you have changed your PIN code. Try not to forget it.

• Next, enter your mobile phone number twice
• After confirmation, you will get an SMS about connecting to the service on your mobile phone

Online payments have become an integral part of many people's daily lives. Yelo Bank always cares about its customers and offers a 3D Secure service to ensure the safety of these online payments. This service increases the security of online payments and makes the shopping process more enjoyable and convenient, protecting your money from online scammers. The service works very simply. The one-time password required to connect to the service can be obtained in two ways:

• From the list of one-time passwords marked on the ATM check
• By sending a password to a mobile phone number (the card must be connected to the SMS-notification service).

Using the password, you need to register on the AzeriCard website by selecting the "SECURITY CARD WITH 3D Secure" section. Upon registration, the cardholder generates a password. After entering all the necessary card data for online payment, if the site supports 3D Secure, you will be redirected to a special page for entering a password. If a permanent password is not selected during registration, a one-time password is sent to the mobile phone number in the form of SMS. You need to confirm the payment by entering this password in a special field on the page. The password is sent directly at the time of payment and can only be used once for confirmation. Thus, it is impossible to make any payment over the Internet without the knowledge of the cardholder.

This service allows holders of Yelo Bank payment cards to send money at any time to people who do not own bank cards. The service can be used through the network of Yelo Bank ATMs and AzeriCard ATMs. Using the service is very convenient:

• Insert your bank card into an ATM, select the option "CashByCode" in the main menu
• Then select the currency, enter the amount and mobile phone number of the recipient of funds
• The system generates a code consisting of two parts, one part the system sends as an SMS to the recipient of funds, the second part is printed as a check and remains with the sender
• The sender transfers his part of the code to the recipient in any convenient and safe way
• The recipient dials both parts of the code at an ATM and receives money without using a payment card/

When using the Cash by code service, a 2% commission is charged to the cardholder (min. 2 AZN). This service is valid only on individuals’ AZN currency Yelo Bank cards. The minimum amount for the operation is 10 AZN. Daily maximum limit is 1000 AZN. Funds to be cashed from an ATM must end with 0 (eg: 10, 20, 30, 110, 450, etc.)

To set the PIN code through ATM:

•    Once the card is ready, a one-time PIN code is sent via SMS to the number you specified during the order. The code is valid for 6 days.

•    After getting the card, insert it into the ATM and go to the e-PIN section.

•    In the next window, first you enter the one-time PIN code sent by SMS, and then the PIN of your choice.

•    Re-enter the PIN code you set.

•    Congratulations, PIN code has been set, try not to forget it.
